December 19, 2008 - USLBA Award
Aero-Space Tooling & Machining just received the US Local Business Associations Award for the 2008 Best of Salt Lake City Machine Shop. We're excited about this award since it shows our commitment to our customers and validates that we are a quality machine shop.
December 2008 - Machining Parts up to 17' Long
We just received our Amera Seiki VB-5 heavy duty vertical mill. This is an amazing piece of equipment allowing us to work on huge parts. Some of our initial orders involve development of wing struts for under development commercial jet aircraft.
December 2008 - Moving Quality Assurance away from the inspection room
Utilizing the LEICA LTD LASER TRACKER, we can now perform on-site measurements on large parts away from the inspection room. This gives us significant flexibility including taking measurements at our customer sites.
